Flo does dirty stuff…
I've got a high school classmate that had been badgered by friends to go as Flo for Halloween one year and finally did it.
She nailed it pretty well.

Good call. I remember that guy from way back in 1983 or 1984. His ads were annoying as f*** when I'd be up late at night watching TV.maroon barchetta said:TexasAggie_02 said:

George Zimmer!!!! That was a long time!
He's not national, but it's gotta be Mattress Mack in Houston! And for total number of unique ads, it's definitely him. He has to be pushing 40 years.

Yes they were. And are. But he's the man.
If he ran for mayor of Houston he would win in the biggest landslide in the history of all elections.

Not sure it matters but Dave Thomas retired from Wendy's in 1982, and returned to the company in 1989 as a spokesperson. He eventually appeared in 800 commercials for the chain, after his retirement.Bruce Almighty said:TexasAggie_02 said:

They both owned their company, so I think don't think they really count.
Dennis Haysbert is more of a spokesperson than a character. And reprising a role from twenty years before to make a Super Bowl ad is not quite the same as doing it continously.Bunk Moreland said:

The 57-year-old actor contracted a bacterial infection in June 2009 that put him in cardiac arrest for more than two minutes, he recounted to Page Six in a new interview. Though paramedics were able to resuscitate him during the ambulance ride to the hospital, Winters needed multiple operations and developed gangrene a month later, which required the amputation of two of his toes and half of a thumb.

Nah. She got all whiny about people looking at her boobs a few years back.

This is a tough one. I'm gonna vote no, he doesn't count because the shoe is named and based off of him, making him have ownership of it. I know he doesn't own nike. Good one though.
Flo isn't selling Flo coverage, she is a spokesperson/advertiser for Progressive. Joe Namath wasn't selling Namath pantyhose.
Here's a different one, what about George Zimmer from the Men's Warehouse? I think he was the CEO, not the owner. I don't know what I think about his situation.
