This could be as bad as sour Yogurt or as glorious as a room full of virgin Druish princesses.

THere should be some sort of international committee that approves sequels of movies that are more than 10-15 years old. It would really help a lot of entertainers not tarnish a fun film with a **** sequel

I can't recall all of them, but they always suck

IMO, this has potential, and doesn't really feel like other legacy sequels, nor does it need the old cast. Star Wars, sci-fi, fantasy, etc is all so different now, and has changed so much over the past 40 years, that it seems ripe for a new parody. In that sense, I see this less as a direct sequel to Spaceballs and more as a *new* Spaceballs for the modern Star Wars/sci-fi/fantasy landscape, if that makes sense.
