RiP. His roles in Fallen, Cold Mountain, and The Italian Job come to mind but he had so many good ones. A rare actor who could pull off a hero or villain convincingly.

My brother had to read Eye of the Needle in high school.

It has some rather explicit sex scenes in the book. Very descriptive.

That book got passed around our neighborhood kid group.

Dirty Dozen is great acting but such a phony movie now looking back at it.

loved Donald Sutherland he could play heroic and also the villain.
