Documentary is worth watching. Tells the story of Lou Pearlman who created boy bands in the 90s, and also ran one of the biggest ponzi schemes of all time.

One noteworthy thing about this documentary was the use of AI to render video of Lou Pearlman reading from his own book. So they got the AI Lou Pearlman cutting in to narrate the documentary. Quality is made to look like an old VHS tape so it looks seamless. They put in a disclaimer at the start but don't really notice that it's AI rendered.

May be the first time we've seen something like this.

Wildest part is the whole thing comes crashing down when Lou stiffs his own lawyer. Greed got 'em. Owed his lawyer $16-million, refuses to pay then writes the lawyer a hot check. Lawyer gets pissed and goes ham on his ass. Perlman just pays the guy his $16 million and he'd probably be alive and still running the scam today.
