I'm looking into getting one of the OctaStream boxes for watching television especially sports and some movies. Does anyone have any experience with these boxes, which version or model name to get, which apps are must haves. Also is there any problem using these devices, seems like a way to cut away from cable.

Never used that one, but quick google search shows they have been known to use really old hardware. There aren't any legal issues with the device, but you can pretty much say that if you aren't paying a reputable company for channels (like YoutubeTV) then you're probably watching an illegal stream. All of these android devices that say you can have all of the channels and PPV for just the price of the device are stealing the broadcasts.
