If someone could give me a shot-for-shot live-action remake of this 5-part GI Joe TV movie, I'd die a happy man. A really over the top patriotic GI Joe movie would be fantastic, like Rocky IV

There had been talks of making this but haven't found any updates on it.
The Russo Bros have been attached to it for a while, last update I could find was from about a year ago:

I think the time to try it was probably 20-30 years ago. Its last bit of cultural relevance was airing as reruns in the early days of Cartoon Network. There's nothing stopping someone from trying, but since Warner Bros owns the rights it would have to come from them.

The cool part is that 99% of the actors change out between the three plots so .. don't need to pay the actors a high price. Heck they even wrote out Admiral Hunter Cameo in Invid Invasion..
