Just finished S2. Damn what a fine ending!

Solo is adorable. Loved hearing the truth of his story. Great acting by Zahn.

Almost done with S2 of this show. I really like the story, though S2 was a little slower than S1 (too much unimportant dialogue between characters). They casted this really well. The actors/actresses are great, with the exception of Common, who is absolutely terrible.

Rebecca Ferguson, Harriett Walter, Steve Zahn and Patrick Gomez are under-appreciated actors.



Can someone help me out, because I apparently missed a piece of the plot...

Juliett Nichols left the Silo. Apparently the tape saved her. However it appeared to be coming off when she was outside.

Have they explained how she lived? At first, I thought the suit killed the people (suffocated them or something), and the tape coming off is what allowed her to live. But apparently the outside is still poisonous? But she had to break through the screen on her helmet to live...even though the air is poisonous?

I'm confused on what saved her, and if the air is still poisonous. And if something like special tape is what protected her, how is she going to live going back outside, with a makeshift suit from scraps?

I feel like I missed something.

Unless I'm forgetting something I don't think you missed anything.

Important to remember the characters themselves don't know either.

What we do know:

- The crappy tape made people die faster than her good tape
- she was about to suffocate in the suit for lack of air once she did make it to the other silo

Ok. Gotcha. It wasn't adding up to me, and I thought I missed something important. I guess it's not supposed to add up for me yet.

Maybe the older 'bad' tape seals better, and the suits suffocate those sent out to clean.

Yeah, I read the books in the middle of the last season so it's hard to remember exactly what happens when in the show so I don't want to accidentally spoil anything so playing it extra safe, but I think at where we are in the show, neither the audience nor the characters understand what's killing the people that go outside.
