I've never seen anyone quote, mention or otherwise use anything from the dollar bill gag commercial. However, the money gag, also known as the carrot and stick gag has been around for ages in old cartoons. It was already part of pop culture, and an insurance company just recycled it. See an old Superman comic.



And the Hump Day commercial is just silly. It has been around for forever too. People were saying it long before the commercial so there's no way it dictated people saying "Hump Day." Don't let advertising try to convince you differently.
