Finished this last night and overall enjoyed it. As already mentioned, the wolf attack scene was dumb. They would not work that hard to get to the kids and they would bolt after the pistol went off. Much easier to take down a tethered horse.
The French group was just weird and out of place and really could have been completely cut out and nothing would be different.
Abish fighting on the side of the Indians makes no sense either.
The other stupid thing that I didn't see mentioned is the guys in the bar at the end hanging out and dancing and drinking while it burned to the ground around them. Dumb dumb dumb.
