I think the issue stems that the original action figures didn't have the silver leg and THAT is what a lot of us remember.

Yikes now, not so much in 1980. I spent a lot of time at that mall in the early 80s, saw a lot of movies there although I didn't see Empire there.

Oh yeah it was great! Go see a movie then hang out at Gold Mine Arcade. Good times. Took my daughter car shopping up and down 59 a couple years ago and wow that is a sketchy area of town these days.

Yep. A decade ago I worked at a ****hole place with an office on Wilcrest near Bissonnet. When my team would go out for lunch, the degradation of that area was painfully clear to anyone who had spent appreciable time there in the past. Same with Sharpstown, where I lived my first 10 years.
