I was told by someone to check this out recently. I can't turn it off. There are a ton of episodes and seasons. And it is hilarious.

Sometimes, I think that the author (Reed) was writing it just for me. Sterling is so dumb, but occasionally, he spouts of some Dennis Miller grade random facts that are actually pertinent to the situation. And you are like, Holy Hell, how in the world is someone so clueless, and also know so much, all at the same time.

It's like looking in a Fing mirror.

Watched the whole first season on a road trip and was hooked. The first 4-5 seasons are absolute peak comedy to me. Unfortunately, I trailed off during the Archer 1999 season. I appreciated what they were trying to do, but the anthology seasons were getting tiresome. Been meaning to go back and watch the last few seasons.

One of my favorite jokes was when the eco terrorist sunk a whaling skip I think and archer said "what, he's against clean burning lamp oil?" Absolutely hilarious to me.

I think I'm permanently hung over from that road trip

Great show. Although I love it and also feel like it was written specifically for me, I haven't seen the entire series. I got pretty burned out after binging a few seasons in a row. I haven't really gone back to it.

If that show wasn't very inspired by Grand Theft Auto and all the cutscenes / still scenes from that game, I'd be shocked.

"M for Mancy" lives rent free in my head. Along with, "A Black astronaut, Cyril! That's like killing a unicorn!"

Great show. One of my favorite things to do is watch compilations on youtube especially the one with all of his voicemail gags.

This is the one I quote in the house the most, specifically when my daughter leaves food out on the counter. Neither her, nor my wife has any idea why I keep saying that, and I don't plan on explaining it.

Always loved Archer but got lost somewhere around season 8 or 9 and never got back. I tried starting over at one point but didn't make it very far.

Some of the jokes are so deep and complex that you might not even catch it. I remember one early on about a "Charles whitman sampler". How did they ever when get there and then how many people get the reference. Impressive depth mixed in.

I can't remember what it was, and didn't recognize it, but there was one joke that was so esoteric, one of the characters even quipped "yeah, good luck getting that reference."

I'm on 1999 right now. It has some really funny parts, but I liked the first seasons the best.

The show, especially the earlier seasons, were so dense on jokes that you can't even remember them all. I am currently in a rewatch.

The voice casting is absolutely nails, but yes, the later seasons were a little stale but considering how much humor is packed into a show, it's understandable.

I think Reed did a great job not getting bored or burned out by going anthology for a few seasons (I'm sure I'm in the minority but i loved the dream/coma seasons) and the last season (maybe the last 2?) he brought in other writers and it was still kind of anthology as far as telling a broader season long story but still packed with jokes like the early seasons.

Fantastic voice casting all the way around, even with the minor characters like Ron Cadillac. God, if Ron Leibman wasn't dead (uhh spoiler alert i guess) I'd totally watch a series centered around the life and times of Ron Cadillac before meeting Mallory.

I thought that was a beautiful ending for Mallory and Ron. I didn't realize that Jessica Walter and Ron Liebman were married until I looked up her bio after the episode where she retires and joins him at the beach.

I get why he did it, but it was basically a 4 year hiatus from the show and viewership never recovered.

That was SO good. Considering the circumstances, it was the best possible ending.

Sounds like this show went longer than I thought I did. The last season I recall watching was the one where the fat girl got skinny from doing coke and they were all locked up in some mansion?

Damn that's a random description but that's all I can remember. That was season 4 or so?

Archer Vice. That's kind of where it started going off into some unusual directions. I liked Vice but didn't find the later seasons as engaging.

Hulu for sure since it was first run in FX before FXX. And apparently its on Netflix as well.

I'm about to begin a re-watch of the last 3 seasons, the post coma ones. I'm not sure any of them are all that noteworthy on their own but then again i haven't seen these seasons as much as i have the first 7.

I just finished 1999, which was the last anthology season. The last few episodes of 1999 start referring back to the original show, and the season finale has a great montage of the prior seasons that is worth checking out for fans. "The Shield" quality montage if you are a real fan.

I'll start the next season tomorrow or this weekend.

Netflix has the entire run. I think that Hulu does too.

There is a lot of content there. Over a decade of seasons. Not a weekend binge.

They stole Pam Poovey from me.

She's my favorite and the best line of hers for me was after Archer says his game wasnt good the night before (sex) and she says, "yeah, you were pushing rope the whole time."

She's a damn national treasure.

I love Pam, Malory has the best smack talk on the show. She might be the one most responsible for actual laughing out loud.
