Any time, any where.
ONE band at ONE concert. If you don't know the exact show, which tour?
Woodstock 69, you'd have to pick one artist's set for example. Not the whole event.
My list, all rock because I love the energy of those shows vs. a country show. This was a tough selection.
In no particular order:
1. Queen - Live Aid show, 1985 Wembley Stadium
2. Van Halen - Somewhere on the 1984 album tour. Prime DLR & Eddie.
3. Jimi Hendrix at the Monterey Pop Festival, 1967
4. Led Zeppelin, 1977 tour, Los Angeles
5. AC/DC - Back in Black Tour..... although the River Plate concert footage out of Argentina looks amazing.
6. Stevie Ray Vaughan - In Step tour, Austin
7. Lynryd Skynyrd - 1976 Tour
8. Pink Floyd, 1980 tour for the album "The Wall"
9. The Beatles, somewhere on the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club band tour. This did not happen. Oops
9. In that case, give me Hank Jr. Five-O tour, mid 80's.
10. Elvis, the '68 Comeback tour. Not the biggest Elvis fan, but I'd like to see what the hype was like in person.
Honorable Mentions:
1. Beethoven, 18th century Vienna. This was like a rock concert back in the day.
2. Robert Earl Keene, Texas Hall of Fame, 1996/7. Went there with a giant group of my friends & we had the most amazing time. I'd love to relive that, the whole crowd was hammered and we sang along to everything, every word. REK was a god in the 90s at A&M.
3. Aerosmith, Pump Tour.
