Murderbot and Stick are two new shows on Apple that I think they made as a movie and keep cutting it into episode.

Anyone else get that vibe?

I guess we can be grateful the PresAux team advanced from space beatniks to space hippies within one month's time. I enjoy the show, and felt it was getting better, but to me episode 7 was a stinker. Mensa regressed back to a weakling, the PresAux team is nearly useless, and the whole giant centipede "face off" was contrived. I hope it improves next week.

It's one of the few shows I've been able to watch week in week out.

How ironic is it that the PresAux team has absolutely no sense of self preservation? How did this group ever reach adulthood (certainly not maturity)? And do they ever do any real work? That said, I love the character and the concept; I'm just not crazy about the execution.

After watching some shows that go on forever, this is a nice break.

Speculation: Murderbot survives and he along with the rest of their mission get off planet and form the basis of a crew that loosely resembles the one on Sanctuary Moon exploring the cosmos in future seasons.

I think so. It was very well done.

I just realized he was able to shoot Leebeebee because he don't have a governor.

I'm enjoying this series but it feels like each episode is about 15 minutes. How many episodes is this season going to be?

I think the final episode drops on Friday and is scheduled for over 30 minutes.

After having watched the entire series, I will give the Weitz's credit for giving the human characters a bigger role than they had in Wells' original story. I don't love casting them as "space hippies", but truthfully they didn't have a lot to do in the novella. The ending was satisfying and sets up season 2 (confirmed yesterday) perfectly.

With the last episode down, I think they did an okay job with the show. I'm in the "not liking the space hippies" crowd. They were idiots that had no business on a survey, have no common sense, and are cringe inducing. This episode was probably the highlight of the season for the team. On the other hand, it was a huge departure for Murderbot from the book. They did ace the ending, though, and I'll be in on every episode for the next season.

Forgot to check back in here after the finale. I thought it was good! Definitely in for season 2.
