Finally got around to watching this, I'm very forgiving when it comes to action movies (love Scott Adkins films) but good lord this was a mess.
The extreme shaky cam in the fight sequences (and the big final scene happening in the dark) meant you had no real idea what was going on half the time, everything moved so fast and staging was hard to follow. I had high expectations considering the director and was kinda disappointed in the action, there were some interesting things happening but following it was really tough.
That said even for this kind of movie the story was pretty lacking. Everybody is corrupt, ok that tracks for the genre. But early on we have Charlie and Mia get caught in the wrong place at the wrong time when the uncle double crosses the family then everyone just accepts the fact that these two amateurs took out like 20 Chinese gang members with fully automatic weapons and proceed to pursue them the entire film? Uncle then decides to go assassinate a cop in the hospital with an automatic weapon rather than like trying to be subtle? Young cop then takes him out, just leaves the multiple homicide crime scene, and decides to set up the other corrupt cops totally on her own? There's also the question of how they found Walker's cabin as the only connection they knew of to him was the quick phone call where they hung up on them.
I was really wanting to like this one and it was just so very forgettable.
