It was, but I'd rate Electric much higher. Top to bottom and amazing album

Kind of apples and oranges, about 10 years apart. Make sure you've seen The Ramones , live from London in '77. Once upon a time, rock bands generated this kind of raw power. There's a great show in NY about 10 years later from The Cult at The Ritz. Peak Cult, I met Ian and Billy once ,they admitted as much. Love was a real game-changer. I thought Love Removal Machine was plodding compared to what they did on Love. A bit of a letdown, really.

Ramones were ****ing AWESOME!!

Cult is good, but not great. "She Sells Sanctuary" is my favorite of theirs. One of the best starts to a song that I've ever heard.

Never a fan of the Cult, but love the Ramones.

Not a big fan of The Ramones but understand their importance and influence.

The Cult is really good but when they were big I was into other stuff.

The Cult fascinate me as they somehow fit into rock, alternative, and new wave eras/genres but not snugly or fully accepted in any of them and if you dont give a spit about music gatekeeping and genre definitions, you just put em in a "eff it, they're awesome" and are ok with it. They're in my "eff it they're awesome" category.

Ramones are legendary, can't say enough good things about them.
