Anyone else tired of Steve Carrell always playing the bad guy in recent roles? I legitimately cannot recall his last role where he wasn't a bad guy.

Four Seasons… Mountainhead… Morning Show…

I know it's not realistic to expect The Office-level performances from him, but he never plays the good guy anymore. Shame

I love The Big Short, but I thought Carrell's acting was actually the weakest part of the movie. When you listen to Steve Eisman interviews, he's not the socially awkward that Carrell portrays.

Check out The Way Way Back. While not a villain he is a total dick in the movie. Written and directed by Jim Rash and Nat Faxon starring Sam Rockwell.
