The Netflix algorithm works again. This show is so stupid, but quite watchable. Well cast with notable actors, soap opera dialogue, better scene locations.

Netflix algorithm on casting remains undefeated. Shooting too. Writing (probably not) though I have watched too many Kevin Williamson shows.

It was a guilty pleasure kinda watch. If they make a S2 I'll probably watch it.

I'd describe it as a wannabe Ozarks storyline with Virgin River casting and writing (okay maybe slightly better).

No, the Netflix show creation algorithm that's like "we need another trashy family show, we've got these pretty good actors on the payroll, and Dawson's Creek is ranking high right now, so let's give Kevin Williamson some money, make sure he gets some pretty shots of all the coast and whatnot, and it'll pop. Who cares if the writing isn't the best." That algorithm.

Wasn't the worst waste of my few hours.

Definitely some of that, with a little Taylor Sheridan style sprinkled in.

I'm wondering if Shawn is really who he says he is.

First episode was rough. It's like if Hallmark decided to make something TV-MA.

Soap opera feel with a touch of gory death. Can't turn it off but it's mostly background noise.

Yeah the 3-4 vivid death scenes don't seem to match the overall show. Definitely made me jump on one of them.

Belle needs to teach Peyton how to be a ride or die chick, and hopefully Bree sticks around for season 2 (if it ever occurs).

That 70s show guy was a pretty decent psycho drug dealer.

This will definitely get a Season 2.

Cane was obviously written with Joshua Jackson in mind, but he was off doing a bad ABC show that got cancelled this week, so now he's available to do more badness here.

I'm not sure if Topher Grace weighs more than 130 lbs anymore, but he wins the show.

Maria Bello was really good. Not sure how you wake up and find yourself walking away from ER at it's absolute height, and say "well now I have to go do this trash", but here she is.

Hey, she did "Coyote Ugly"

Coyote Ugly was as well written as this and equally entertaining. Def fun.

(With a lower budget and worse cinematography).

Enjoyed it for what it was. Not great but more of a guilty pleasure. Topher Grace was exceedingly annoying. Well done.

Netflix killed this one today. No season 2.

Surprising, as it seemed relatively popular.

No one understands why Netflix does what it does. Fun trash that will be missed until their next fun trash.
