They actually played at Sherman's Fourth of July celebration.

Super job by Jeff Gutt who channels Scott Weiland' vocal range and style. Other members are original players.

Where you going with the mask I found…

Quick question. Is it raining in your bedroom?

I believe The Big Empty is one of the best songs written and recorded in the 90's.

Saw them last year with Live and Soul Asylum.

Live & STP killed it.

Saw STP 20 years ago and while this time was not the exact same, they still do it justice.

That's awesome. STP is my favorite grunge-era band and I hate that Scott couldn't keep it together long enough for them t have been more prolific. I would definitely go see them if they tour.

Purple is my second favorite grunge album behind Ten and Big Empty is my favorite song from that album.

Saw that same line up in Dallas. Agree both bands were great, although, I think Live is just Ed and a bunch of hired musicians at this point.

Yes that it true about live, but really it was always Ed.

As for STP, the Deleos are just as much STP as Weiland was.

First time I ever saw STP was around 2002 or 03 in DFW at Texas motor speedway at some Harley Davidson road fest. I was about 3 rows of people back from stage. STP became a top 5 fav band that night. Once those piercing eyeliner eyes of Scott weiland made eye contact with you, there was no going back.

Gutt took a cowboy hat from someone in the audience and said he'd give it back after a couple songs, but when the show ended, he left with it on.

Did look cool tho…
