I didn't see a thread but the 2 episode season premier was last night and they came in strong.

First episode was the 2nd part of the Abbott Elementary crossover
The second episode had the gang back to their shenanigans



It's a solid start and hopefully they're back to form of the earlier seasons.

Episode 1 was solid. I don't watch Abbot Elementary but the principal describing the gangs antics was funny.

Episode 2 was classic Sunny. Had a good idea of what the gag would be from the cold open, then proceeded to completely forget about it throughout the episode and legit LOL at the payoff.

The episode 2 payoff was up there with the Jokes On Dee. They did a great job writing that episode so you'd forget about the gag. Also Frank's most prized possession had me cracking up.

Doing a full rewatch. Idk if I've ever laughed harder at a show. Devito changed the game when he came in season 2, even though season 1 was funny and has 2-3 REALLY good episodes. The show had lost its spark, imo, but seemed to find their niche again in season 16. Thought season 17 is start off promising and really liked the Abbot crossover.

Last night was definitely the weakest of this season so far, but had some great moments. Bringing back the waitress is always fun.

Catching up. Crossover was great, especially as I watched it immediately after the Abbott episode.

Also, can't recommend enough to enjoy the show a little high sometimes.

I thought ep3 was fairly solid, seems like they found their pace again hopefully.

The finale was a complete dud IMO. Episode 7 was hilarious but that last one was brutal

Generally speaking, I agree...but Dee saying "I'mma barf on it" "Barf on that thang y'all" followed by loudly retching immediately afterwards was pretty funny

Dee almost throwing up will never not be hilarious.

I also didn't think the tribute to Charlie's mom at the end would get me in the feels as much as it did.

Overall, I'd say this was a pretty solid season.

I guess I'm in the minority in thinking the season finale was great. I laughed my butt off at frank dismissing the women as they exited the cars, the hawk tuah woman, and the actual family meet up where Dennis and Dee said Disney would never air the conversation when they were threatening Sam. It was something different, and I thought they nailed it
