A lot of the episodes this season seemed like rewritten or "updated" versions of previous scripts.

The last episode was Enemy Mine plus a sloppy tie to the Metrons.

The holodeck.

The scavenger as the Doomsday Machine.

There were also some high points.

4 1/2 Vulcans was very clever and fresh. The wedding episode was neat but using Tremaine was sloppy. The Lens of time setting up the finale was almost too clever playing with cause and effect.

Do we think they try and reboot TOS after SNW has run its five year course?

The way they're slowly introducing characters like Scotty, JTK, and I'm sure we will a Dr McCoy at some point it feels like the natural progression would be to do a dive season run with the new actors.

I love all of the TOS cast. Kirk is especially good considering how over the top Shatner was.

I like all the actors they've cast so far too. Looks like season 4 will be released next year.
