This is the first instance I have heard of generative AI being used in a major film. I am certain we will start seeing it more and more. I didn't dig to find out which film/parts were AI, or if it has been released yet, but this is definitely a sign of what's to come in the entertainment industry.

I assume since it is called hit, it has been released already.

Also, I would hazard to guess this is not the first instance of a studio using it in a production, just the first instance of one admitting it.

Which I really enjoyed. Season 1 filled the post-apocalyptic void that the extremely mediocre and unfaithful Last of Us adaptation left for me.

It's used in Stranger Things 5 to keep the actors looking young instead of 60.

they used a green screen and cgi to recreate ESPN offices in the new Naked Gun movie. Am I supposed to be getting used to this new era of "film", or was it never intended for me to begin with?
