Started last week, with first episode free on Prime, then MGM+ @ $6.99/month with 7 day free trial, and I know no one who has MGM+.
It's based on the Stephen King novel by the same name published in 2019. I thought the book was pretty good, so I watched the first episode. It's also pretty good.
This gifted "teenager" is abducted by a secret government (?) agency and put with other teens with similar gifts, then trained and tested. (There's a bit of an Eleven "Stranger Things" vibe, but it's different.) There's also a good-guy former cop who wanders into the nearby town, and I'm sure he'll get mixed up in it.
The production values are there, and the acting is good, esp the teenager who's carrying almost all of it.
Has anyone else seen it or more than the first episode?
