Saw Sketch tonight with the family. If your kids like slightly scary things, such as goosebumps, this movie should be right up your alley. My kids are 11 and 8. The 11 year old LOVED it but it may have been just a tad too scary for the 8 year old. It did have some genuinely creepy parts.

Overall I really enjoyed it . It's a heavy movie that deals heavily with grief and how we process it (or don't). It was a lot deeper than I thought it would be.

The kid actors were good. Tony Hale was great in a much more serious role than I expected. The animation of the sketch monsters and the sound design were really well done for what I can imagine is probably a fairly low budget movie. I was pretty impressed.

Overall, probably a B+, but I am gonna bump it to an A for my 11 year old who likes creepy shows and movies more than the average kid her age.
