Not a fan of his music but we met him one time in St. Thomas. He came off of a large private charter and was coming ashore to the beach we were on in a bay. He had rented a house there and was fall down the stairs drunk.
We got a bunch of pictures with him… his wife wouldn't let him take shirtless pictures so my buddy let him borrow a shirt for the pictures. He was really cool and had clearly had a great day on the water. His wife was less than thrilled with them but they were a lot of fun.

If you see him again, tell him to fire whoever is running his Nashville bar. Not exactly a fan of his music either, but ****, if you've sunk that much into a Broadway club, at least have better taste in... ****, pretty much everything.
Beer selection, bourbon selection, live music - easily the worst of the bigger clubs there.

He put on a good show for sure. Guys like him are basically the rock stars we grew up with in 2025 for better or worse. The opener, Nate Smith, was fantastic and I did not know a single song.

Went to a Hill Country floods benefit last night at Moody Center in Austin. I was familiar with his name but absolutely none of his music. But when he came on stage the crowd went absolutely berserk. Couldn't begin to tell you the name of the song he did but crowd went wild. Miranda Lambert then came on for a duet and her voice was completely drowned out by Aldean and his band.

Probably "Try that in a small town". Crowd erupted to it in Houston as well, then after the song was over broke into a "USA, USA, USA" chant.

I thought it was supposed to be the whiskey that drowns the memory.
