He trimmed down too - perhaps some influence from getting married but also seems to be aiming to have one last great year. I believe he'll retire after this season and the wedding will be after (next summer or fall).
He hasnt been terrible, but given his incredible performance pre-Taylor, it definitely had some "Roy Hobbs dating Kim Basinger" from the Natural vibes for a while there.

I don't know any TEs that did not slow down after 32.....and Kelce set a high bar.
Travis turned 33 in the middle of the 2022 season. He had 1300 yards and 12 receiving TDs that year. Gonzalez when he was 33 had 867 by comparison.
At 34 Kelce had 984 yards and 5 TDs - I believe that is the most yards for a 33/34 year old TE ever (Gonzalez had a down year at 656).
At 35 Kelce had 823 yards and 3 TDs. - 2nd most for a 35 year old (Gonzalez had 875 and 7 TDs)
The greats:
Tony Gonzalez never had a 1,000 yard season after turning 33 either.
Gronk retired at 32 never had 1,000 yard season after the age of 30.
Antonio Gates played until he was 38 but at 33 he had 870 yards and every year after was less.
Shannon Sharpe too never had more than 811 yards after turning 32.
Jason Witten never had over 700 yards after he turned 33.
