Rick Davis, founder and front man for Supertramp, passed this last weekend. He made some of the most dynamic music I've ever heard. You get lost in those tracks. If you're an audiophile, you know Supertramp's recordings were the perfect reference for demoing new stereo gear. Thanks for everything, Rick. "Give a little bit..."

Whenever I'm listening to 70s era rock and a song comes on that I know but cant remember the artist, it's almost always supertramp.

I wish Davies and the other primary singer/writer Roger Hodgson (who sang most of their bigger hits) had been able to reconcile and reunite before Davies' passing. Would've been great to get one final tour from them with the band. Hodgson is 75, not sure he tours anymore either.
