I agree! I like the live finality better than the current version. I wish they would go back to that but I doubt they will.

I was going to be so pissed if Rizzo or Sav didn't win

Savannah is quite literally Parv 2.0.

Going to be very interesting to see how the two of them play it in season 50.

Is anyone else concerned that Sage was an intelligence officer?

A lot of those players from the very early seasons are going to be pushing 50 by now. They probably didn't feel like they could handle it.

I'm glad to see that "Q," aka Velvet Jones, will be on season 50. Go watch season 46 and tell me you don't hear that when he speaks.

Cirie is in her 50s
Ozzie is in his late 40s
Coach is in his late 50s early 60s

The old school players are old....

Compared to Dee, Q, Charlie, Tiffany, Savannah, Rizzo, etc....it's going to be different.

I think the challenges will be signifigantly less physical.

They should have a go-pro attached to Rizo as he sees all of the other legends out there. he's going to go nuts.

I'll be 52 by the time it airs.

Colby is born the same year as me which means he was 27 when he was on Season 2.

What's the show's fascination with Mike White? Is it because he's relatively famous but still loves Survivor?

I really have no clue how this season 50 will go or who even might be the favorite to win it

For Survivor 51, I'd like to see three tribes:

Tribe 1 - Medical evacuations. Those players who were pulled for any medical reason.

Tribe 2 - 1st Outs. Those players who were voted out first in their season.

Tribe 3 - Runner Ups. Those players who made the final two/three but has second most votes to win.

Not sure this would go as you think it would.

Tribe 1 - There haven't been that many medical evacuations on Survivor (there's been 20). I don't know if you could pull enough people together that would still want to play to form a tribe, but it's possible.

Tribe 2 - There's often a reason they were voted out first. They generally suck.

Tribe 3 - This could be interesting. I would think you'd need players that got 2-3 votes, and not someone that just got a sympathy vote.

I'd also thought a 1st Out season could be fun. But the more I think about it, you'd get a lot of bad players playing a bad game. Could be interesting, but also could be boring as hell.

I'd like to see more old people.

Like instead of Golden Bachelor, Golden Survivor.

Season 31 (Cambodia: Second Chance) is the closest we've had to these three scenarios in a single season. All of the contestants were selected by fan vote. Maybe for season 62? Seems like the show will last at least that long.

Interesting idea, but a lot of the recent 1st vote outs seemed like they shouldn't have even been on the show (like others have said). I'm sure you could get enough to these play, though, to make an interesting tribe.

Med evacs, you could take the guy from this season with the snake, the guy a couple seasons back who was climbing and slipped. There have been a few other post season 40 evacs, though this tribe might be all men haha.

Agree, Fiji background is getting stale. I would love to a season in Africa again, but I'm sure the cost of production would be prohibitive. Australia sure seems like it would be doable though.

Also, no holds barred. One immunity idol in play at a time, no gimmicks or wierd immunities, no exiles, 39 days. Go old school.

CBS basically said if you want to come back post covid, you have to cut down production costs.

I think these are all great ideas, but it's not happening.
