Holy **** this show ****ing sucks. I mean it is complete garbage. This show being made, in the way it was made, does not make any sense and should be appalling for anyone who even remotely enjoyed playing a Halo game at any point in their life. I should have heeded the reviews and avoided it.

I considered getting Paramount+ for that but decided to hold off. Great decision after hearing about the first few episodes, and I have 0 desire to watch it.

Honestly, it really seems like it's another franchise IP that was adapted by writers who had no ties to or interest in the original source material and decided to try to put their own spin on it because they could do it better. Studios looking at established IP like it's a cash cow with a built in audience need to understand that the audience already has expectations because they're familiar with it, and hiring dumbasses looking to subvert those or who don't understand them is going to alternate the audience and cost them a lot of money me
