Here is what I found for Amazon pitching Bond (click of "Films"):

None of lame posters seen on social media, and they appear to be mostly actual screen grabs from the movies themselves. They depict the action, a few with women. But of course no guns. You can't promote James Bond without him holding a gun.

This begs the question if he will be gun less in the classic opening credit sequences going forward and/or will they retroactively change it for the older films. I already own the entire collection through Spectre, so mine can't be retroactively changed.

I could've sworn I saw the jerk-off poster in the thumbnail for Dr No on Prime Video a couple of days ago, but it's not there any more.

So, it looks like this started at the Amazon Prime UK site which makes a little more sense considering how nanny state and pro-censorship the UK is now.

Not sure why this has to propagate over to here though because the link above someone shared still has the movie stills with no guns in them.
