4 part mini series about the October 7th attacks, told through the accounts of survivors and interspersed with real photos and videos.

I binged this today and really enjoyed it. At the end of episode 4, they share the real survivors on set and the inspiration for the stories told.

Very powerful and very well done.

I watched We Will Dance Again which has lots of footage from Oct 7. I cannot imagine that the people out protesting in favor of HAMAS ever watched or actually know what happened.

It never ends. I guess you think the holocaust was over exaggerated too?

Not the jews. I was talking about the production people for the film. Should have made that a little more clear.

I am not Jewish and I am not Palestinian. There is lots of bad evil stuff going on in the world. Sometimes folks are just gonna have to sort things out themselves without me.

And I am not going to watch a documentary about some wrongs when I know the folks making the doc are going to try and hook me or pin it on me. Maybe they do in this one, maybe they don't, but there have been too many that have and I am jaded.

Are the videos the ones that have already been shown for years? Or are they from the footage that the Israeli government has been showing to some of the press and high ranking politicians? If it's the latter, I hear it's REALLY BAD. Not sure I want to watch that.

None of the real videos depict any gore, nor do I think the story is politicized. The photos & videos are simply there to document that what you are watching really happened and that even the actors are representative of the actual survivors.

I'll save my vitriol for F16, but this is very worth watching.

I am thinking it may be too realistic and dramatic for most of us who were closely tied to what happened on October 7.
