Watching Marty hold onto the cars while skateboarding jogged my memory to a guy I went to school with doing so and breaking his nose when the car started off the light and he wasn't ready. About a month after the movie came out, we had to have an assembly at school about not doing what Marty did because of the rise in broken facial bones and concussions that was apparently sweeping the nation.
