This just started. Such an underrated sitcom. I can't help but laugh at this family's relationships. Reminds me a lot of my family. Anyone else watch this show?

YES! We love it! I can't watch the reunion live but I'm recording it to watch later. It's such a funny show.

One of very few shows that is funny as heck without a word needing to be said. Peter Boyle was a legend.

Patricia Heaton, Debra, at age 67, looks fantastic! Love her hair!

Yep, never really see it quoted, memes or gifs posted or any references from it made on here or online. That's what I meant by that

Such a great show. Ray and Brad Garrett played off each other so well, but the real stars were Patricia Heaton and Peter Boyle. Their chemistry gave the show a surprising amount of depth for a family sitcom.

If you haven't seen Exporting Raymond, it's a fun look at the show.

Ray was an idiotic buffoon that fed into his shrewish wife's behavior.

I feel bad for people who can relate to this specific sitcom. All families have dysfunction to an extent but ELR is so psychotic, it's actually terrifying.

I can't relate to any of the relationships or situations, but I still love the show. The ridiculous dysfunction is what makes it funny!

I'm not a huge Raymond fan, it's fine, but this might be the dewshiest thing I've ever read on TexAgs. And that's saying something.

The sculpture episode was pretty good.

I watched on and off, so not the biggest fan. I will say that one of the funniest things I've seen was when the brothers and their better halves were celebrating their parents moving to a retirement home and Brad Garrett picked up Patricia Heaton and put her on top of the fridge. Wasn't expecting that move.

I'm not saying that I AGREE with this post, but one thing I'll confess I've noticed about myself is that the same episodes that I laughed my ass off to when they aired back in the day now sometimes make me uncomfortable when I catch them on reruns.

Nothing with Ray's parents - I still find those hilarious, but some of the scenes where Debra is literally yelling at Ray some white lie he told or something he did so that he'd be happy at her expense or something, make me think "Man, that's actually pretty lousy of him."

I know, I know…

I should probably watch this. One of my HS classmates is the mom of the Sweeten kids and she's been posting about it a lot on FB. I'm curious to see how they handle discussion of the twin that passed.

I didn't watch it a ton, but I did love the one where Ray would intentionally get Debra pissed off so she'd get fired up and want to have sex.

I stood about two feet from Patricia at a pro-Israel rally in DC back in early 2024.

she is so tiny and had NO entourage!

It was just her standing by herself in a crowd!

she is an amazing person aside from being outstanding actress.

come on guys-

we don't want to accentuate family situations to make them ACTUALLY FUNNY in a COMEDY!

They briefly touched on Sawyer's suicide. His brother Sullivan was there and they acknowledge it. I was not aware they were from Texas. He shot himself at their home in Austin. Really sad to hear.

Yeah. It was really hard on them as you can imagine. And a twin losing their sibling has got to be awful.

Great actress and pretty damn hot. Liked her in The Middle as well.

That is his sister too. I had to look it up when she was the one that answered it was ok to bring him up. Pretty cool they all got to share in the show experience growing up.
