Rewatching that had two thoughts:
1. It's the best MI. So so good
2. Really wish that Ethan would have rode off into the sunset with Ilsa. Great chemistry. Rebecca Ferguson was perfectly casted for that spot. Much better fit than captain America's main squeeze and they shouldn't have killed her off. The last one would have been better with her in it.

Love Rogue Nation. Only argument against your second point is if he rides off into the sunset with Ilsa, we don't get Fallout. Which is arguably the greatest action film ever.

I need to watch Fallout again but I do think Rogue Nation is the best one.

I saw an interview with Rebecca Ferguson where she said she asked them to kill of her character. She said the MI films are really hard to film, and she doesn't consider herself an action star.

Ghost Protocol is the best one, imo.

Fallout is not the best action movie of all time. Die Hard would like to have a word with you.

And Raiders of the Lost Ark is sitting behind door number one.

Well, Raiders is in my top 10 movies of all time, but I classify that more as "adventure" as opposed to just "action".

My main point is that Fallout on this board is overrated. It's a great movie, but I don't know where this bandwagon thing about it being the "best action movie of all time" came from. I don't even think it's the best MI movie, let alone how it stacks against some of the truly greatest action movies of all time.

As for Rogue Nation, it's grown on me over the years and I like it a lot, but I put it behind Ghost Protocol, MI3, Fallout, and MI1.

T2 says hello to all of these.

Good God you're such a 90's kid, it's not even funny.

And Die Hard waves but points T2 back down the line.

I don't think he ended up with Grace. I think Ilsa is still alive! Please see the Easter Egg in the last scene when Ethan walks away. Who is he following!?!?!?!?

What makes the series so amazing is how many different opinions there are about which movie is best. My order, best to worst...
