He did so much for the Austin community and music scene as well. Sun Radio immediately named their studio after him when he passed away.

I've seen them three times in the last two years and I'm so glad I did. What a fabulous voice. When we saw him in Dallas, he had a Guns n Roses moment and threw his guitar and stormed off the stage but he later apologized because he was not feeling well. Even so, everybody had a fabulous time!
