That was a really, really, really good season of TV. They did such a good job developing strong, compelling characters and dropping them in a sandbox familiar to all of us who played the games. I'm in awe at how well they've managed it.
There will be a LOT of storylines to juggle with all the fuses that were lit this season, but I can't wait to see where it all goes. Here's hoping they have a plan and stick the landing.
Possibly of note - Fallout 1 and 2 (both set on the West coast) were developed by a company called Interplay. Interplay went out of business before it could launched its planned Fallout 3, resulting in the IP being sold to Bethesda, which modernized and switched coasts for the setting, moving Fallout 3 to the DC area.
The code name for Interplay's cancelled game was Van Buren. It was to be set in Colorado.
Maps from earlier this season have already made reference to places from Van Buren design docs.
I wonder how much of that cancelled sequel will come to life in Season 3.
