I watch Die Hard every year but always have a difficult time accepting Holly Gennero's hairdo. Just plain awful. It just makes me think c'mon McClain, you can do better than that.
Interesting that Bonnie Bedelia, the actress that played Holly, is Macaulay Culkin's aunt

There's no way SLJ was a name before Pulp Fiction. Recognizable face maybe, but did anyone know his name?

Yes, from Patriot Games and Jurassic Park.

Call BS all you want, but the highlighted word here would include me. I don't give a crap about the vast majority that you refer to, that wasn't what prompted my response.
I saw both Patriot Games and Jurassic Park on opening day in 1992/1993. Prior to Patriot Games, I can't recall having heard of Jackson. Years later, I'd recognize him on a rewatch of Coming to America. I saw Goodfellas but don't recall him in it, it's been years since I last watched that one. But when I sat down to watch JP and saw him in it, I absolutely knew who he was.

I can watch the first one over and over. The rest of them are just kind of OK.The original 1988 Die Hard teaser trailer used Christmas associated music .

Debate over , it’s a Christmas movie.

Ode to Joy is not a Christmas song.

One thing that bothers me about this movie……how the hell did John tape his gun on his back during the last scene with Hans???

He probably applied the tape to the gun first and then positioned it on his back. Yes, he would need some flexibility but I think he could do it. The biggest hurdle would probably be his sweaty back and if the tape would stick.
The thing that should bother you is at the start of the movie when they show Hans and his henchmen exiting the truck there clearly is no ambulance back there. The producers admitted later they didn't think it through when they added the ambulance for their potential getaway.

I have seen the movie every Christmas for the past 15 years and just now thought about this!
