Fun fact: there are more good FF movies than there are good Star Wars movies.

Fast Five and beyond don't exist without Tokyo Drift. That brings in Justin Lin as director and the actor/character for Han that Lin created in one of his previous movies.

I didn't watch Tokyo Drift until after the 7th movie and was fine. These movies aren't complicated.

I wasn't talking about story complexity. I am saying the movie is worth watching because it brought in a director that changed the course of the franchise after the 4th movie.

IMO Tokyo Drift is one of the better movies (even though they ruined a Mustang)

1 is great. 2 was trash. I don't remember 3 or 4. 5+ all run together but I love them all. Totally different movies from 1-4 and 5+

4 is the only one I dont really remember. Never saw any of the ones after Walker died.

5 and 1 will always be the top tier

Do not skip 2-4.

2 introduces Roman Pearce, who's the funniest person in the franchise and Brian/Roman are by far the best duo.

3 is the best pure racing movie in the franchise and introduces Han, who is a major part of the family.

4 brings back all our main cast from 1 and directly sets up 5.

All I can add is, when I was coaching Elementary School Girls Softball in Burbank, Vin Diesel came to one of our games because his workout partner's daughter was on my team.

Vin is a real one. Probably the 2nd coolest guy I've ever met behind Carlos Cavazo from Quiet Riot.

Watch number 1. The rest are entertaining but for a car guy the first will never be topped. After that it turned into XXX mashed into Mission Impossible.
