I found out about this band on this here board back when Lore came out. Every time they release a new album, I want to come back here and thank whoever suggested them to me. So, thank you. And give a listen to Through Zero when you get a chance. What a great band.

This new album is going to be absolutely killer!!! Was just listening to the title track last night OTW to the King's X show, but haven't gotten to listen to the whole thing yet. These guys have come a long way since their beginnings (which were still awesome). Seen them several times and they are fantastic live also. Unfortunately no Texas dates currently on their fall tour, hopefully that changes, but if not might have to travel for this one. May go visit my buddy in Fort Collins in September and go to the Denver show.

I've been seeing them since the mid 90's, so obviously they're not quite at the level they used to be. However, the magic is still there, and those dudes are just on another level. Dug's voice is the biggest issue, but he still does great, he just can't do the "big" stuff anymore and has the crowd sing a lot of that. Which is fine, and for me at least it does not detract from the show. Jerry still kills the drums, and Ty is still his usual self, loud and proud. Did a decent set about 1.5 hours last night, and we had a blast. Crowd was great, lots of energy and not too many phones up the whole time. Met several cool people and the guys seemed in a great mood, so again no complaints from me!
