Really good horror/thriller movie. Starts out as as a buddy crime drama showing the daily rut of a down on his luck hitman and morphs into a midsommar/hereditary esque folk horror film.

This is one you're going to have to rewatch multiple times and small details are behaviors will click and you'll go "holy ****" when you see how they actually fit into the story.

One of those movies where I sat looking at the screen for a few minutes at the very end.

I watched this one last night. This is one where I question myself and my taste in movies. It's disturbing to me that I find movies like this entertaining. At any rate, it did have extreme Midsommar/Hereditary influences in it, although this one came out years before the aforementioned. All in all, it was interesting.

A rewatch really fleshes the movie out, when you realize how long the grooming (not in pedo way) went on.
