My new favorite series. I just got the season 1 dvd. I highly recommend it.

My only complaint is that it shows too much with the wives and their day to day lives. I'd rather it just stick to the action.

Shawn Ryan is a genious. If you liike the Unit, checkout his other show the Shield.

Only thread I found on this show. I remember seeing the first season when it aired and didn't quite draw me in.

Found it again on Prime and in a couple of insomnia fueled binge nights am now on season four.

Not perfect by any means but still quite entertaining. Pretty good male soap opera. Stories move around and keep things interesting. The family side is the other side of the action coin and also keep things interesting.

All in all this is perfect for these kinds of nights. Anyone else remember this show?

It was all of the worst parts of the shield (stupid family/home life crap) and none of the good. But it was a typical network dumb hour drama. No more, no less.

We enjoyed it. Family personal stuff got a bit sappy. Wish he woulda killed the colonel...

I enjoyed it. Funny story. Circa 2007 or so, I took my kids to the batting cages in Burbank and in the stall next to us was COL Ryan - aka the Terminator Model T1000 - Robert Patrick. When he's talking on his cell phone, he has the biggest back home Georgia accent ever. That doesn't come through in his acting though.

And, the personalized license plate on his BMW 740i - "UNIT 58". I think he was born in 1958 and obviously was a start of "The Unit".
