Pump the brakes a little; there was a Disco night back in the mid 90's that there is video proof of.

And I can't even count the number of Lefty Frizell songs it took to get "Dancing Queen" out of my head.

There was a disco night at Stack '05 too.

I am still thankful I was in a swing that night...although it is very possible that was the night that duct-tape pants met their downfall.

Yeah, and they don't even play their music on a phonograph and vinyl, it's on some kind of hand-held thingy that plugs into the speakers and apparently pulls it's music from the air.

Next thing ya know they will have computers out there.

Yes, I can see it now. Lots of white people who look like Johnny Unitas and Kevin McHale and that chick from T.J. Hooker dancing and doing the Hustle, dressed like John Travolta and Fat Elvis. With the sounds of The Average White Band and Gloria Gaynor pumping from the .45 record player, the workers shake their groove thing all night while sweating profusely because they are wearing polyester clothes while doing hard labor......... nah didn't happen that way

My question is do the reds still read the phonebook when stack needs a little motivation?

They hav'nt done it that i've seen in the past two years. This year we have had motivational dance offs, and candy, as well as the occasional shenanigan.

Must not have. I'm sorry I missed it. Last year i had four exams, two essay and a semester gpr below 2 when stack came around, so i wasn't there much at all.

In '97 they were reading from a 6 year old issue of Time one night.

God that sucked.
