Is Student Bonfire pretty kid friendly? ...just an old ag wanting to have the kids see their first bonfire. The kids were born after '99.

If it is anything like on campus Bonfire, than I'm good. With the addition of food, drinks, and live music, I wasn't sure if it was geared more towards students/adults only...

Thanks

Student Bonfire is very kid friendly.. You may want to bring something for them to do while waiting.

deffinatly kid friendly. Like slim said however there is a certain amount of down time in which small children would need something to keep them busy. All around though a great family atmosphere.

it's all good food...hopefully they'll continue that.

drinks...soft drinks, juices, water...there are no "adult" drinks to go along with the self imposed "no alcohol at Bonfire" guidelines.

live music...well...we'll see, this has been pretty iffy the past couple years...in '05 there was a band on a 45' float, but I'm not sure they were too audible above all of the rest of the commotion. Last year there were plans, but nothing came through and the music ended up just being played over the PA system... I'm sure bands/artists have been asked this year...lets just hope somebody wants to come.

My suggestion is actually to bring a set of dominoes and use the time to teach a new 42 player...or something like that.
