But...

Terry participated in Student Bonfire for two years. Not only does he sleep in the same household, but he has been a good ear whenever I needed to work things out. He probably hears and has heard a lot more over the past couple of years than many members involved, simply by proxy.

Let it be known that Terry does not hate SB or isn't out to see it fail.I think of all people besides Terry, I would know. He asks these questions and argues for the growth of the organization. That might be a difficult concept to grasp, but consider him to be playing the devil's advocate. Sometimes for the sake of humor, sometimes genuine. Love him or hate him, he's not going away, and although he has a tough reputation on this board, you might actually consider what he has to say. You don't have to accept it, but that's his goal...for you to actually consider these things instead of just blowing it off.

In all seriousness, I come on this board to hear from real Bonfire guys, mostly from the "past" ('99 and before). I have talked to many of them and they don't want to come on this board because of "dewshbags that don't know shheet and talk outta their A$$". I want to hear more from those guys than you. It isn't a personal vendetta or an "e-hate", it just is what it is. Can you please leave some space(opinions) for some of these guys?

Well from a guy who did build it on campus...

I am very open to discussion about Bonfire new and old. I am also sick (and tired) of reading anything posted by Square. All too often he hijacks a thread and takes it off on a personal tangent, making the origional topic a secondary point. I do think that he has some valid discussion points, but for whatever reason he seems to get bogged down by attempting to respond too agressively to critisim (be that critisim valid or invalid).

I think it is sad that this thread is necessary.

Can someone make a graph to show where everyone that posts in here stands on the whole Pro Bonfire, anti bf, pro on-campus, pro off-campus, pro current leadership, pro former leadership, anti non-governmental leadership? I love to see statistics from New Army. Try to make it look like the political spectrum chart if you could. It can be four squares, and they can be labeled to include square 2 for 2 percenters and the others would include 92 since that is such a great number, 98 for the other 98 percent, and 107 for the people that I can't tell to this day what side they are taking.
