With the game coming back to Thanksgiving night, how, if at all, does this affect Student Bonfire?

I suspect that the Reds/Board are discussing this.

If I was the king of the world, I would probbably push for a T-1 burn date.

I know some may say it may interfere with Midnight Yell, but rarely do people stay at burn much after seeing stack light and doing yell practice.

Most people are gone 2 hours after burn. this leaves plenty of time to make it to Midnight Yell.

Remember, this year we are playing at Austin. The proper Old-Army date for Bonfire in this case is T-2, so you can travel to Austin on T-1 for Midnight Yell.

As for home games, I think you'd still be looking at T-2. Home yell practice for the tu game won't be at midnight, it'll be at 8:00 or whatever just like it is now. Even back in Old Army there wasn't midnight yell before tu home games...yell was at Bonfore and Bonfire was at dark-thirty.

T-1 for home games and T-2 for away are my favorite options...except for that whole yell thing (maybe it's a good thing Aggie Bonfire wise that A&M keeps the t.u. yell at 8pm)

we'll just have to see if they keep putting Burn on silly old Saturdays...

This past year ('07) things worked out well since Burn got postponed and mother nature stuck in on T-2.
