Uh, the Batt, IS a newsrag that is distributed largely by a University that never wanted the current Student Bonfire to exist.

Hunker down. It's not over. Hope Mr. Lightsey has been legally "clean" lately. Better bet TAMU sees this as a chance to call an abrubt halt at a very inopportune time, like say right before BURN.

Student Bonfire is not Texas A&M affiliated so Texas A&M University officials can't stop burn, only a burn ban in the county/city/whatever issues burn bans can.
