Friend of mine texted me late last night and said a cop came up to his car while wiating and told him "they just cancelled Bonfire due to the wet ground - you ought to just turn around and go home".

I texted him back and told him it was BS but he responded "No, it really was cancelled this year".

Dumbass........

When we were on our way out there was a Sheriff Deputy and a Trooper contradicting each other's directions. We just stopped and stared at them while they argued about which way to send us.

we were getting the same thing from people... it wasnt bonfire turning people away... it was the cops wanting to clear out traffic
