Anyone know more about where the cannon come from? Couldn't have been PMC could it?

No, it wasn't PMC.
They were from a group of Civil War reenactors, but I don't remember the name of the group.

If you want to get technical, one was a cannon, the other was a mortar.
I was wondering who they were. Word amongst a few of the yellows, although it probably (definitely) wasn't accurate, was that they were a few old members of PMC, and they stole the cannons.
My understanding is that they were confederate war reenactors.
i loved them, those things were loud and they set of a ton of alarms in the parking lot

I think you're giving yourself too much credit.
Sadly, my dog did not handle it well. I had to take him back to the car, and he was still shaking hours after we left. Poor thing, he will have to wait in the RV next time.
