Hey Naveronski, good job on the pictures, saw you out at stack last night taking 'em.
Your's came out better then mine. It seems the lighting out at stack has made it difficult to get a good picture with my S3.

Rusty, I'm glad you like them. It can be very tricky to get photos to come out; I discard many more than what get posted. Usually, I end up keeping only about 20% of what I take, and it's often less.

man, what's with the crappy tape job on that JRPs pot? Couldn't he have at least found some stuff that sticks?

Just posted over on the Old Army Supply Co. Facebook page, the group photo taken this morning at around 0130. Wish we could have done it sooner when all the crews had all their guys and gals out earlier in the night but it's understandable - a lot of 'em had to leave to study for exams they had today. ***Disclaimer: Full credit of this photo goes to I BELIEVE Dion McInnis over at Old Army Supply Co. Thanks for coming out and supporting us and taking this great photo.

It's been my pleasure, as always. I'm new to the photography game. My dad (a photographer) bought me the camera (my first) as a gonna-be-a-dad gift a couple months ago. While I've been asked for tips and techniques out there, and that's been flattering, the fact is that I don't know much. But I do know, to borrow the title from dad's book, photography is in the seeing, not the taking of pictures (http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/detail/312695).

And in that regard I am truly fortunate. To have seen so many great, great things by and in so many outstanding people year after year... I'm a lucky, lucky man. And I hope that even just a hint of the greatness I have seen comes through in the photos. It's the very least I can do.

Stack looks fantastic. It's unquestionably the "fattest" Student Bonfire yet.

How wide is it? Looks like at least 50 ft.

Got some sweet 32's, too.

Hey, be nice to Walton. Those Helium logs aren't gonna hold themselves down!
