Does anyone know if the Redpots have a new date set for lighting Bonfire 2010?

They're waiting for the burn ban to be lifted.

Will Student Bonfire update the studentbonfire.com website when the burn ban has been lifted and they have a date scheduled? When they do finally set a date to burn it, will the Redpots have the ceremonial passing of the flame and circling the stack or just spray it down with diesel and just light it? I really hope they do the ceremonial passing of the flame. Even though the t.u. game has already been played, this years Redpots should still be able to have their experience of being passed the flame and circling the stack.

I do wonder how the Yell Practice will be affected by having already played the game.

Will somebody be guarding the unburned stack over the holidays in order to prevent a repeat of what happened a few years ago?

there's been someone out there ever since the non-burn. not likely they'll stop now.

An unsuccessful burn. The stack was left standing until New Year's, when it was lit. AFAIK, they never found out who did it.
