While I was on TigerDroppings, one of the points of contention with us was the following:

Is this a thing? If so, why and how did it start and how the heck are we supposed to explain it to people? If not, how did this rumor get started?

I have heard that a thousand times before, always from outside, usually from the sips. Sounds like the swamp cats are picking up where the sips left off.

But we actually build bonfire. So have YOU ever done anything like that? If no then why are you listening to idiots that have no idea what bonfire even is?

In my day, the BQ sophomores built the outhouse. I was a BQ. I had friends who were Yell Leaders. I built Bonfire 3 times, Zip year was the only year I didn't.

The first I ever heard this story was about 10 years ago, and not from anyone at A&M.
